Deakin University Volunteer Blitz

Deakin University joined the fire recovery effort in the Elingamite-Cobrico area in a big way yesterday as more than 90 staff from across the state joined us, BlazeAid, ReGreen4FireAid, Corangamite Shire Council and no doubt others others in a massive one-day event. The goodwill in the wider community to assist fire affected landholders is huge, as was the production line putting together more than 320 care packages for farmers impacted by the March 17 fires.
