A new roadmap to guide sustainable land management and environmental stewardship across the region has been released, with the Craters to Coast Landscape Action Plan now available to the community.
Developed through a collaborative process, the plan brings together local knowledge, community priorities and expert input to support the long-term health and resilience of landscapes from the volcanic plains to the coast.
The plan identifies key environmental values, challenges and opportunities, and outlines practical actions to support biodiversity, waterway health, soil condition and climate resilience.
