FASA – Farmer Adoption of Sustainable Agriculture

June 12, 2026

Heytesbury District Landcare Network (HDLN) is offering subsidised places (valued at $5k with $300 participant contribution) for 10 local farming businesses to participate in the Resilient Farming Course. A practical, regionally tailored training program focused on improving farm resilience, soil health, productivity and ecological function.

The course has been developed specifically for farmers in your region and is suitable for grazing, dairy, cropping, viticulture, horticulture and mixed farming enterprises.

The program combines practical workshops, farm-based learning, soil and plant testing, and peer-to-peer support to help farmers better understand their farming systems and identify practical management strategies suited to their own context.

Participants will also be supported through an ongoing Farmer Peer Group Initiative (Feb 2027 to April 2028) following completion of the course, helping maintain momentum, accountability and local farmer connections.

Course Dates:

  • Day 1: Thursday 20 August 2026
  • Day 2: Thursday 10 September 2026
  • Day 3: Thursday 22 October 2026
  • Day 4: Friday 6 November 2026
