This project was a partnership with the Corangamite CMA (CCMA).
It enhanced riparian zones within the CCMA priority reach areas, which include the Gellibrand River, Curdies River and Campbell’s Creek catchments.
Benefits for landholders and the community generally include stock exclusion, erosion control, increased biodiversity and improved water quality and flows.
Funding through the CCMA covered a large percentage of project costs including site preparation, fencing, revegetation, weed control works, tree guards and planting.
