Going Upstream project Launch - Introducing Gus!

The Going Upstream Project has officially been launched and the mascot for the project, Gus the Going Upstream platypus, has made his debut.

Gus will be making appearances within towns and areas that receive their water from the Gellibrand River and Curdies Catchment to raise awareness of where our

water comes from and to sign people up for the Going Upstream project which gives you the opportunity to learn about water saving and receive reimbursement for installing water saving devices in your homes.

Devices including water saving shower heads, duel flush toilets, low water use washing machines and water tanks connected to the toilet or laundry are eligible for reimbursement in town, and rural homes. Up to $400 can be received from the HDLN as well as current Government rebates of up to $1500.

For more information or to get involved please call Geoff on 55983755.
